Suzy is a Fort Worth native who brings to the Texas office extensive experience in business planning, non-profit management, capital improvement projects and community development initiatives. She has served on numerous nonprofit boards and is an accomplished fundraiser. She was appointed to the Governor’s Task Force on Education in Texas and received a Life Time Achievement Award for her work with the Fort Worth School District. Suzy studied Nonprofit Management and Business Finance at Texas Christian University. She is a member of the Texas Business Woman and Tarrant County Coalition for Nonprofit Professionals.
A native of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Alison graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a BS in Architecture and a Masters degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia. As a student at UTA, she collaborated on the Congo Street Green Initiative that serves to implement new methods of sustainable design for under-served communities while also revitalizing a forgotten street in the East Dallas neighborhood of Jubilee Park. As an intern at Partners for Sacred Places, Alison participated in the survey and documentation of historic Texas churches for the Texas Sacred Places Project.
Krin Van Tatenhove
Krin has 30 years of experience as a Presbyterian pastor, with parishes ranging from rural to suburban to inner-city East Los Angeles. He has also served as a Hospice chaplain, an Army chaplain, a substance abuse counselor, and coordinator of projects with Habitat for Humanity. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, with an emphasis on organizational redevelopment. He has an extensive bibliography of published articles for both secular and faith-based magazines and newspapers, and has also produced a number of books through his nonprofit, Torch of Faith. He lives in San Antonio with his wife and son.
